Apparently I’ve been a little restless lately, so I tweaked some of the pages a bit as well as the sidebar. The biggest new thing is the events & appearances page because I got mad at alisonkrauss.com for not keeping us updated enough and because we’ve posted about dates as they come in, but not really had a place to keep everything organized. I’m going to try to keep it up as best I can, so keep checking back to that
instead of going to Alison’s homepage!ETA by Mindy: We’ll try to keep y’all updated on the tour, but if you really want to snag those very first presale tickets, you might want to bookmark AKUS’ artist page on Ticketmaster and check it every few days.
I suggest staying on top of things, because the Baltimore show was just announced a few days ago and is already close to sold out.
And God knows you’re not gonna get official email or Twitter updates about the tour. So it’s up to us, folks.
ETA 2: The presale for Charleston, WV begins today at 10 A.M. EST. Ticketmaster says it’s a “promoter/venue presale.” No word on whether there’s an offer for the fanclub yet…
ETA by Allie: The presale/onsale date for Montclair, NJ starts January 20th at 12:00 p.m EST, but there is no link on ticketmaster nor does the official website list anything on how to purchase tickets. If you’re going to that show, I would suggest keeping an eye on the theater’s website. I’ll keep an eye on things tomorrow and see if anything changes.

$95. What.
ETA by Allie: Dude do you even remember how much our Knoxville tickets were? $95 is not that much compared to that lol
Oh god so accurate.
What the fuck is the deal with the ticket prices on this new tour? And the lack of fanclub presales so far?
If this continues, I’m out. Look, I traveled to fucking New York City to see Alison, but I’m not paying $95 for a ticket in mid-orchestra after the theatre’s been picked over by the rich fucks of Atlanta. I’m not begging for scraps when I’m one of the most goddamn devoted fans this band has. Sorry.
I don’t want special treatment, but I will not be treated as second-class because I don’t have money.
I agree. On one hand, I’m not sure how much control AKUS actually has over a lot of these things. The lack of...
This might sound kind of harsh, but I honestly feel like AKUS has become a product - they’ve become something mainstream...
yes ma’am. forgive me, I meant the ones after they were sold out were 250. I checked the site approx. 20 min after they...
